Biography

Coming from an abusive and violent background, I am a 60 year old female who finally found some semblance of peace and settled into a more 'normal' lifestyle. I wrote "Mother's Journals:parts 1, 2 & 3" to illustrate the difference between the good and the bad aspects of human interaction. There are those among us who have had so much of the bad that they do not realize good is also available to them. I once was such a woman.

Inspiration

Having known many women who were abused as children and in disastrous marriages, I try to write to give them hope. My fiction is based on the events that shape our lives and solutions that are now available. No one wishes to be preached to, so I chose to use word illustrations to describe some of the nastiness most women have been subjected to at one point in their lives or another. There is an undercurrent of what can go wrong when matters are taken into one's own hands, and some good results as well. I am hoping to plant a seed for the abused to seek help, and also to entertain those who don't need it. I have not pulled many punches with the gritty side of life, and most women will identify with one character or even several in the book.
