Description

This is the very substance and premise of which this quest is comprised and entertains. This very statement made in response to Boethius strikes against the very core of the Humanist's mentality to those who of the New Age mind set embrace “brother sun, sister moon.” This work is a masterpiece of a person coming to grips with what indeed is reality, and not what we make of it. Many from the humanist's and forward have placed blinders on their eyes and dismiss the past as mere rhetoric, thus erring as she continues, “How plainly and how widely do you err by thinking that anything can be adorned by ornaments that belong to others!” This book contains some of his more familiar pieces, which usher us into meditative reasoning and contemplative awakenings, fostering a return to our real heritage and a deeper sense of our place with Him. This work is not one, which urges you on and on at a frantic pace, instead it creates a longing within and a desire to not only come have his dilemma satisfied, but also yours. The issues presented are everyday life, which is not discriminatory in whom it coaxes to take a ride on “Fortune's Wheel”, nor are the outcomes different by birth, gender nor social standing. Unlike other pieces of literature, which simply pacifies whims and desires, with no real benefit beyond memories, this work engages, ministers, prompts and causes you to do more than think but truly ponder numerous issues within your life and the world around, and ultimately your relationship with God. This particular individual’s quest took place at the fall of the Roman Empire, nevertheless what he addresses are timeless, inspiring, soul stirring and heartfelt issues and factors, which span not just generations, but all time. This work is masterfully redone and well crafted for those, who desire a little of this and a little of that in their ala carte menu.
