Biography
I was born in 1958, in Oklahoma. I went to school, at Northwest Classes H.S.; Graduate of Southwestern Technical School, in the field of Nursing Assistance. I live with my husband of three years, David, who works at a construction equipment rental store. I have 3 children( 2daughters, 1son); 1grandchild, and 1 more grandchild on the way! I love to do gourmet cooking( my husband, thinks I'm weird for that!). Also, I like doing knitting, macrame, singing, and of course, writing. I love being outdoors, even when its cold! I think, that you shouldn't limit life by the cards, that it deals you, you should define life, by how you see the things around you, and how you are remembered, by all the people you know.
Inspiration
My inspiration, is from my grandmother, Mrs. Essie J. Alzora Hendrix; My Mom, Mrs. Jessica Lewis-Banks, they were both wonderful storytellers, and many a day, and night during the summers at grandmother's house, were spent, listening to the stories they would tell. My inspiration also comes from Ms. Maya Angelou- she makes poetry come alive for me! She is a very spiritual woman, and a wonderful poet!
