Biography

J. Stefan Jackson began writing stories in the summer of 1997, after spending fifteen years pursuing a career as a songwriter. Many of his songs dealt with the mysteries of the supernatural, where he explored the angst and personal struggles that often result from broken human relationships. It was a natural progression for him to leave this mode of expression and venture into the world of a different type of wordsmith: the novelist. Inspiration

Much of my inspiration through the years comes from my lovely wife, Fiona, who is my muse and mentor. Ghostly ideas come to me from many sources--not just imagination. My most recent works deal with the nastier kinds of ghouls that are inspired from true paranormal research that I've assisted my wife with during the much of the past decade. Nothing scares me more than to think about the eerie places we've visited on cold, lonely nights--often in the middle of nowhere--and what might be lurking...waiting for us to return.
