Description
Miles the clown’s smile has been stolen by another clown. Elimson only knows how to frown and has used a magic spell to steal Miles’s lovely smile and stop him sharing or feeling anyone else’s smile. Now Miles feels unhappy all the time. Miles desperately needs to get his smile back. There is a little boy in hospital that is very sad and he is waiting for Miles to visit and share his smile so he can feel happy and forget about his pain. His friend, Dottie the dog, seeks the help of the Queen of the Butterflies who sprinkles some magic on Miles’s balloon and tells Dottie to take photographs of other people’s smiles and pop their happy smiling lips into the balloon. Once the balloon is full it will burst open and all the happy smiling energy will wipe Miles’s frown away and give him his smile back. But Miles’s frown makes him feel tired as well as sad and it is difficult for him to walk all the miles they must tread to fill the balloon up. Chocolate the horse comes to their rescue and carries Miles to the last town where the balloon bursts open and wipes his frown away. Now they must race to the hospital so Miles can finally share his smile with Peter and wipe away his sad frown.
