    Biography

The creative world has always been a part of my life. After school I attended Art College, worked in an Animation Studio where we still painted cells and later moved on to Advertising. I eventually became TV and Radio producer for one of the major advertising agencies in South Africa. I had a short fling with a restaurant - helped to create and open it, a Moroccan/French bistro. It was HARD work. Now I have all the time in the world to live my dream. As a "hobby" I organise tours to Morocco and Sri Lanka and my interest in these countries eventually lead to my writing of The Midnight Room. I write travel articles for a local upmarket magazine called Dossier. I always have about ten books next to me that needs reading. Any less and I get paranoid. I love listening to French music and traveling.

    Inspiration

My passion for traveling definitely inspires my writing. However, I find a muse sometimes in the oddest of places. Attending Jerry's conference in Arizona was the best idea I ever had.
