Biography

Kelsey Ann Harris was born in Southern Indiana in the United States. She has stayed there all of her life. Writing has always been a passion for her. It is what got her through her life. She has two younger brothers and a younger sister. For three years, Kelsey was an only child. She was diagnosed incorrectly with ADHD and ADD when she was in the middle of fourth grade, and had to move from private to public school because of it. She went to public grade school until junior high, when she was homeschooled. They diagnosed her with very mild Asburger's Syndrome, which is a form of autism. It helped her understand herself and why she looked at the world differently than other people. Afterwards, she spent 4 successful years at Castle High School, where she took classes in journalism and was integrated into regular classes. Kelsey had overcome tremendous challenges, and still does to this day. She got her Core 40 high school diploma with honors, and studied for three years to be a teacher at USI, but decided to just use her teaching and writing skills outside of the classroom walls.

Inspiration

Kelsey's inspired to write in general because writing has always been a way of dealing with my life as it occurs. She can't imagine not writing. Her inspiration is the many daily occurrences that happen, from the smallest things to the hugest things.
