Biography

Elizabeth Blake was a Medical Technologist for 20 years before switching to teaching high school science. She has written numerous short stories which have been published in various magazines and anthologies,including Guideposts. She is a grandmother of 3 and lives in Arizona with her husband. She loves to walk, swim, travel, and write.

Inspiration

I loved teaching my at-risk, inner-city high school students. It was tough but I learned how to relate to my students and eventually became an award-winning teacher. I dealt with gangs, a riot, shootings, murdered students, and abusive principals. I felt that God had led me on this path, but the stress eventually became too much for me. I couldn't understand why I had been led to this place, only to be driven away. I eventually figured out the purpose of these struggles, and decided to share this with others.
