Biography
I grew up in The Salvation Army--which meant attending ten schools in twelve years--and joined IBM as a Systems Engineer right out of college. I went on to become a small business consultant, the owner of a software company and, later, a registered mutual fund rep at The Vanguard Group to hone my investing skills. Through it all, I've been writing, speaking and studying about the grand potential of a relationship with Jesus Christ. How to be a Christian Without Being Annoying is my first non-computer book, and the reviews are heart-warming. A Salvation Army memoir and a book of Quck Takes on Life quotes are in the works.
Inspiration
I talk to everybody, everywhere, and these conversation prove again and again that life can be a tough old slog at times. It's obvious that some kind of hold on God makes a big difference, but lots of us are too afraid of God to risk it. So I explain the God of the Bible. Fortunately,I play well with others, so there's no pushing or shoving to force people to agree with me. I just don't want anybody to throw this potential away until and unless they know what it is.
