Four brothers of a New England blue-blood family spend the weekend together and discover an unsettling family secret.
At first glance, the McCades are a family of perfect, silver-spooned overachievers. In reality, the McCades are a family held together by lies, secrets, and jealousy. When their father, Joseph, dies, he leaves the massive estate to his four sons: Jonathan, Christopher, Andrew, and Bryan. Their father's will requires them to spend the funeral weekend together and come to terms on dividing the estate, but thirty years of sibling rivalry and their own personal issues pose huge obstacles. Over the course of the weekend, some brothers reconcile, some surrender, and some declare war. In the end, they make decisions that change their lives forever.
