Biography

Velia Pola is a Cape Cod native. She loves to escape "over the bridge" to pursue unexpected adventure whenever possible.

Inspiration

The eighth of nine siblings, I have always felt defined by my familial position. A scrapper when necessary, a peacemaker at times, always an individual with a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants determination, I've morphed and grown through multiple relationships and careers. After a serious childhood trauma, my mother once referred to me as her "miracle baby." I believe I survived to be of service to others in a capacity just beginning to be realized. Through my words, I touch both friends and strangers, and feel privileged to stir their emotions.
