Biography

Tammy started writing her book in 2005. As a personal fitness trainer through ISSA and her customized training business, she wanted to share some of her clients experiences. Tammy is also certified in fitness therapy, life coaching and hypnotherapy. Tammy is a North Dakota native and has lived in Arizona for 11 years. She started watercolor painting on the kitchen table in Detroit Lakes, MN on vacation in 1994. She stopped painting in 1996 and didn't pick up a paint brush again until 2006. She started Watercolor by Tammy in 2006 and now has twelve angels with messages. She would not have started painting again if it were not for her book. Her inspirational story is listed below.

Inspiration

Tammy's first inspiration to write came from her personal training clients. Many of them discovered what works for them to achieve the weight they desire. Tammy discovered what works for one persona may or may not work for someone else and each individual needs to discover what will work for them. She wanted to teach women to feel better about themselves, to stop the negative self talk, and to choose to create the life and body they desire. However, as it turns out her intention switched from just working on the body to working on your mind. This is the story of Hope...While taking a life coaching class Tammy had to do a guided visualization in which she had to meet herself ten years from now and ask herself a question she had prepared. When the time in the visualization came for Tammy to ask her question "Am I going to publish my book" she received a surprising message from her subconscious. It said "It's not about the book, it's about the painting". Going into the visualization she was sure the answer would be "Of course you are going to publish your book." As you learned above Tammy had not painted for 10 years. She started painting again and put the book aside. About six months later while preparing for a seminar she was speaking at, she made the decision that she needed to write the book, even if it wasn't about the book. Three months after that Tammy had a dream and in the dream she saw her book sitting on book shelves. The cover of the book was an angel. Without understanding why she was to paint an angel on a cover of a weight loss book, she went ahead and painted Hope. Soon after she had the vision of Harmony and developed the stories that went with the angels. The angel visions kept coming and she started painting, reproducing and selling her angels all over the world....And all she had started out doing was writing a book. Ten of her angels and their inspirational messages are in the book. The angels are reminders that you are not alone, there are angels around you and when you ask for their help and listen to the answers anything is possible. Her book became much more than just another book on weight loss.
