Biography

48 years of age. I reside in the most politically corrupt community in America. For the longest time, I was a community activist fighting the moral decay. One day, while working at my bar, I asked myself "is it worth it?" The answer was NO, and I started to look for something really easy to do. I went back to an earlier love and started writing my fiction. Know what? It is harder than fighting corrupt politics. I have 3 children, 1 son-in-law, 1 grandchild, 2 cats and 1 dog. I also have this terrific girlfriend who likes to be my muse. I have the girlfriend, because I also have 1 failed marriage to my credit. I like long walks with my dog, movies, reading, conversations, red wine and writing. Of course my children eat into the aforementioned, but what's a parent to do?

Inspiration

Mother, father and step-father were all avid readers. There were always books lying around. Being born deaf in my right ear, I found myself getting lost in novels -- fiction and biographies were the dominating genre for me and remain so today when I read (which I try to do. I try to read at least 1 book per month). I also listen to a lot of audio books when out walking my dog. F. Scott Fitzgerald, Harper Lee, Kurt Vonnegut, George Orwell, Michael Chabon and John Irving are authors I read and read again.
