Sheldon isn't happy. Demoted to the minor leagues. What's a guy to do? Why trade wives with a teammate!
Sheldon Marsh is a half-Jewish, hearing impaired pitcher who had a few good seasons in the pros. He has a wonderful relationship with his movie-obsessed mother, who always offers a title to help him relate to life's ups and downs. But in the decaying yown of Youngstown, Ohio life can be very dull. Worse that the aformentioned, is his relationship with his wife. So when Sheldon decides to swap lives -- including wives, children and pets -- with another player on the team, he not only gets a new spouse, he gets a new life. Swap is a story about coping. Or not coping, depending on which side got the best of the trade.
