His latest book of five is This Page Intentionally Left Blank - Just Like the Paychecks of the Workers. All of which have books have been self-published and received excellent reviews. Prior to this, "for seeing eye dogs only," a humorous look at missing intelligence, exemplified wonderfully by the people in our Nation's Capital was released in June 2005, it has gotten some excellent reviews, with people describing it as "hysterical," even before publication. Before retiring from the business world to his great delight on December 31, 2001, he had been a software consultant for over twenty years, having worked at various corporations throughout the east coast, such as Nestle, Blue Cross, Chase Bank, Digital Equipment Corporation and Sea World. He have a B.S. in mathematics from Canisius College, an Ed.M. in math education from the University at Buffalo and an M.S. in computer from Binghamton University. He studied and worked with computers for over thirty years and taught mathematics at high schools in New York and New Jersey for eight years. In order to put bread in his jar, he worked at many other jobs throughout his life, which you can read about in the first chapter of "Tick Tock, Don't Stop: A Manual for Workaholics," released in July 2003. He also wrote a novel of deception, "Don't Bet On It," a captivating, intriguing, suspenseful thriller about the national lottery, published in May 2003 as well as "The Read My Lips Cookbook: A Culinary Journey of Memorable Meals," published in November 2002. A woman whom he has yet to meet described it with these words: "I got a kick out of it…couldn't put it down until I finished it." Her name is Monica so she can be trusted. He is currently working on a few other books and causing trouble for people who aren’t doing what they should be doing.
Inspiration
They say, "Once a teacher, always a teacher." Despite displaying his sense of humor, all his efforts could be classified as "self-help" books, even the novel. He writes based on the world he has seen and experienced as well as from the books he reads. Some of his favorite authors and those whom he recommends are Jim Hightower, David McCullough, Nelson Demille, Barbara Ehrenreich, Richard North Patterson, Pat Conroy, Morris West, Dave Barry, T. C. Boyle, Ken Follett, John F. Marszalek, Peter Mayle, Sinclair Lewis, Farley Mowat, Michael Moore, Walter Mosely, Studs Terkel, Gore Vidal, Herman Wouk, John Grisham and Molly Ivins.
