Biography

I was born and raised in the South where culture and traditions run deep. Having lived all over, including Alaska, and traveled to Europe, South and Central America I'm still convinced the South is the best. Secretly, my goal is to take cooking lessons to become a better cook/expert baker. My very patient and kind husband allows me to test my 'skills' in the kitchen on him without complaint. There is a constant desire within me that craves adventure and new experiences as I believe that is how one learns. With a degree in English, I've always loved to write and have found it to be an outlet from everyday life and stress. Most of my writing is through blogging which focuses on life and my own experiences both good and bad. I love to share the knowledge I have and continue to gain with others just as much as I love hearing the experiences of others.

Inspiration

My inspiration is life. Things experienced, lessons learned and tips that are too good not to share with others. It isn't always about who you know but what you know and how you learned those lessons. Some can be more valuable and important than ever imagined.
