Inspiration
My first inspiration was my mother, who wrote all her life, if only on small scraps of paper. Later, I wove these scraps together, and they became my first published book, though it is really hers. I have loved to write since the 4th grade, when I received an "A" for my essay about our Girl Scout Camp pig, Sierra Sadie. Later, I began to reread the journals I have always kept, and thought I'd like to share some of my bizarre and instructive escapades. These became the inspiration for Accidental Cowgirl, and for my upcoming book, whose working title is, Some Restrictions May Apply.
