Biography

I'm a simple guy, married to the same angel for 40 years. We have a toy poodle who allows us to occupy her space. I lose all household votes 2 to 1. I love the outdoors, but I don't hunt, I'm no good at golf, and have yet to reel in the big one. I am the king of my castle for as long as my wife says I am. I don't do housework but I do the MANLY chores. I mow the rugs, using sophisticated vacuum technology. I swab the decks, or the ceramic tile floors, as part of the house maintenance project. My own latrine area is maintained in proper inspection detail. As the waste management director I insure the safety and disposal of all hazardous materials which are often found sprouting dangerous spores and bacteria in the back of the refrigerator. All creepy, crawly things which invade our space are ferreted out and destroyed. A fairly easy task - I just follow the screams. That concludes my interior responsibilities. The exterior, my other domain, is manly to the extreme. So I maintain the condition of the house to the specifications of the General what's in charge. In my spare time I write mysteries. I hope that gives you an idea of how simple my life can be.

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from all the mysteries read as a kid and through today. From the classics to the not so classic I love being mystified and intrigued enough to turn the page and when I come to the end of the book I look forward to the next adventure. I treasure those authors who pull you into their story and cause you to duck when a shot is fired or cringe when that creaky door is opened. I aspire to be that kind of writer. That's why I chose as my motto - To intrigue and entertain.
