Biography
Garvin Alcock was born in 1981 on the 21st day of July on the beautiful island of Jamaica, Kingston to be exact. He spent his formative years between an uptown community and the inner city before moving to New York City with his Mom, step-father,and siblings. In the Brooklyn neighborhood where he resided he saw first hand the effects of the "game". His first book actually came about from a rap song that he wrote. The lyrics were taken and converted into what is now LIVIN TO DIE: a gangsta romance story. Garvin currently lives in Jamaica with his wife and daughter. He enjoys gardening, writing music and playing with his princess toddler.Inspiration
