Biography

You might call me a thinker, passionate about solving problems and understanding everything going on in the world around me. When I read great writing, I am impressed, no matter the genre. In my circle of life I am known for my help in managing household finances. Mom's advice, if you will. My editing is automatic, and I can't read anything without either marveling at the great writing or editing, or getting out the red pen and making it right. And there is no book published that is "perfect." That's ok. Passionate about personal responsibility and a firm advocate of healthful exercise. I run several times a week, even though I will never be a challenge to my two daughters who both ran at the state championship level in high school. Love hiking, reading, cats, walking, bike riding, solving problems, learning new things, brainstorming and coming up with new ideas. I volunteer to teach English as a second language because that is the right thing to do for newcomers or visitors to our country. I know I represent what Americans are like to my students and and try very hard to put forward a good face to the world. We're all in this together.

Inspiration

My inspirations are the world and people around me. There is so much to learn and so much that we can each do to make this a better place for everyone.
