Inspiration

I've been a writer since I was fourteen, and the gothic novels of Phyllis Whitney, Dorothy Eden, Barbara Michaels/Elizabeth Peters, and Victoria Holt influenced my writing. Horror authors Edgar Allan Poe, Dean Koontz, and several other suspense and thriller authors also impacted my interest in writing. Now I'm driven to create because it seems I was born to write and it's the thing I do best. Even if I wasn't paid a dime to write, I'd have to tell the multitude of stories running around in my head. I have to write about happily ever after. I believe in true love and like nothing better than to create novels where that love can be realized.
