Biography

I was born in Ogdensburg, New York, and grew up on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. From a young age, I recognized my passion for the written word and committed myself to the pursuit of writing. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in writing from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and a Master’s Degree in secondary education from the State University of New York at Potsdam College. My first book, BARLEY AND GOLD, was published in July of 2001. A new edition of this title will be available later this year. In tandem with Philip Harris, I am co-author of the controversial new novel, WAKING GOD, and am currently busy working on Book II of the WAKING GOD trilogy. I hope to have a collection of poetry published as an anthology later in 2007. When not writing, I spend much of my time as set and lighting director of the annual musical held in my town of residence. I am an English teacher in Upstate New York where I live with my beautiful wife and children.
