Biography

I was born November 7, 1968 in Texas where I was raised by my mother. I had married my long time love in 1998, during the marriage I had experienced Domestic Violence Issues for the first seven years of the marriage. My true strength, courage and resilience came through as I found my inner strength to step out of the black box of fear by challenging the courts decisions. I have stood my ground and stood up for my rights for a fair trial. I have been working on a project to reform several General Statues of North Carolina by talking with Legislatures throughout the State. My background started many years ago when I worked for a criminal defense and family law attorney writing legal documents for a short time. My personal experiences of being a survivor of Domestic Violence, my experiences and battles with the Judicial Court System has led me into a position as a Civil Legal Activist.

Inspiration

My inspirations are my grandmother, John F. Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt and my High School Senior English Teacher Ms. Parham who encouraged me to pursue a career as an Author, twenty-seven years later I have.
