Biography

Anne Lambert was born in Maryland on the Chesapeake Bay. She married Jeff Lambert, her writing partner, on his graduation from the Naval Academy, and worked a plethora of mundane jobs for years. They now reside in the desert southwest, enjoying teaching, dogs and writing. Anne teaches literacy and visits various hospitals with her therapy dog, MiCa and Jeff is a middle school teacher of science and math.

Inspiration

I find inspiration in anything. A news report is likely to send me to the computer, tapping out thoughts for a new book. We write in all genres; historical, science fiction, fantasy and alternate reality. Always a storyteller, I got into a great deal of trouble as a child trying to "embellish" everything that happened in my life. Later, as a young mother, my children came to expect stories of terrible calamities befalling naughty children who didn't listen to their parents. Not that they believed them, but it did make for entertaining drives to new places. Later Jeff came home from a two year unaccompanied tour with a small story excerpt on disk. I looked at it and when he returned from work that night accused him of writing "John Wayne in skirts". He told me to fix it and we've been a team ever since. Our talents compliment each other, as Jeff is great with description and I excel at dialog and characterization.
