Biography

I work as a teacher for a college and write in my free time. I write stories like the kind I used to read as a young teen and fantasised about being the main character. 'Tiberius Found' is my debut novel and the first in the three-part series "The Emperor Initiative" which is about a sixteen-year-old boy (Daniel Henstock) who discovers that he's been genetically engineered. The scientists responsible want him back to finish the job so Daniel has to unearth the truth, evade the men sent to retrieve him and bring the people behind The Emperor Initiative programme to justice. It's been described as "Alex Rider meets Jason Bourne."

Inspiration

Without a doubt I've been heavily influenced by Anthony Horowitz and Charlie Higson who, in my opinion, write some of the best YA adventure stories around. And you can never go wrong with a bit of Michael Crichton.
