Description

The ozone layer is destroyed for greed and corporate gain. The violent weather turns to chaos and so does commerce and civilisation, as the world’s governments battle to survive and defeat the tyranny of TT Enterprises and its corporate megalomaniac, Mr. Spratton. His demands are a percentage of each countries national GDP in exchange for protection by his stolen UVD’s. the ultraviolet deflectors, which act like mirrors. They reflect the lethal solar rays from scorching the earth and killing or mutating everything in it. Could this global catastrophe really happen? Could this unthinkable fiction ever become fact? If it does, can the politicians help? A global devastation created by just one tyrant, a megalomaniac to destroy civilization or pay his ransom contract for protection. Even the mighty USA is brought to her knees. A wild world is created, but can anyone stop him? The earth may never be the same, life as we know it, changed forever! Follow the intricate plot as the characters discover how ruthless nature and people can be. Amongst this turmoil, love blossoms, like the ozone layer, once it’s, it’s hard to replace. Two scientists from Antarctic New Zealand detect extreme thinning of the ozone, O3. The world leaders find out they are being held to ransom by a billionaire megalomaniac, Mr. Spratton, and his corporation, who purposefully destroyed the ozone layer, creating dangerously high concentrations of deadly ultraviolet rays to bombard terra firma. The entire globe’s ozone depletion causes the weather to react ferociously. Mr. Spratton stole top secret gamma radiation deflectors from the United States army and adapted them into ultraviolet deflectors (UVD’s), to protect those countries willing to pay his rental contracts. He then begins his quest to extort countries to make him the most powerful man on earth. The kiwi scientist who initially found the problem, Dr. Jason Rhodes, is invited to NASA to help design a plan to stop the fatal and treacherous weather that has paralysed the civilised world, making her crumble to a state of simple survival for those scrambling to stay alive; while the high pressure stakes between the United Nations and TT Corporation try to outwit each other. Can the world ever return to the norm, or will the weather totally dominate man’s existence now? There’s a grand plan devised to save the world, but can it work?
