EveryDay Life begins in a Ghetto in America with a few African-American friends. This “full-urban” broad comedy implores everyone to take a look at themselves all within a Hip-Hop backdrop.
EveryDay Life, or EDL is an urban comedy that is profoundly important to America's culture as a whole. 'L' the main character is a hard working young Black man saddled with a checkered past. He is unhappy with life and questions the world around him. EveryDay Life is more than made up adjectives, curse words and guilt-free sex. EveryDay Life comes straight out of Hip-Hop's Westside. EveryDay Life begins a humorous journey with disenfranchised homies. While on this journey the reader is treated to a nostalgic romp through the 90's. In the midst of littering the scene with curse words, drive-bys, and police arrest the characters openly discuss topics from America's over-medication, immigration, taxes, slavery, foreign policy, the economy, or just being a black man in America. These intelligent eye-opening characters sound-off on many topics including Will a Black man will ever be accept or elected as President? Will blacks get reparations? These discussion and more are in EveryDay Life if you can handle the truth. EveryDay Life breaks literary conventions and is heavily character driven. In this new contemporary piece of literature Hardie provides the reader with enough social dialogue to last decades. EveryDay Life is a must read book for all Americans. It is not about Hip Hop. EveryDay Life is Hip Hop.
