Okay, so after a while it's hard not to get snarky about the Author part (vs. the writing part) of the job. Maybe we can help.
Basic rules for now:
Curmudgeons will be tolerated but not encouraged to try for take-down grousing. Witty whining is okay, though.
Go ahead and tell us about that latest rejection, but only if it'll help you get back to writing and be less grouchy about the rest of it.
Not really about promo, unless you want to tell us about another great resource. Maybe about writing if you want--we'll see.
Open to people who're published, or have been rejected at least five times, or both. If you're filled with joy about the Author part of the job**, you probably don't need this. (Although maybe we could use you!)
