Warnings and cautions

Warnings and cautions

Before makeing final decisions on publishing your work, choosing an agent or anything else, please go to Writer Beware, located at:

http://www.sfwa.org/beware/

and read through their lists.

Also, take time to visit Preditors and Editors located at

http://anotherealm.com/prededitors/

and read their information.

There are a lot of scam companies out there, and you really don't want to get caught by one of them.

There are also people who, while not necessarily being a scam, have a bad reputation and it will hurt your rep to be associated with them.

My second book with this publisher

Since this is my second book with this publisher, I guess I will have to defend my decision. I know there are negative things written about my publishing company. Before submitting to them the first time, I researched and saw all the negative stuff. I took a chance. I have to honestly say that I've had the best experience with them possible. They have done everything possible to meet my needs, and have worked with me on many different things without any argument. Sometimes, old stuff keeps coming up, and things might be different from what was posted in the past. I, for one, can say that I've had the best publishing experience ever with them. If I hadn't, I surely wouldn't have submitted a second book.

I do thank you for your concern, and for the warning, but like I said, I do feel very comfortable working with them. It's a lot of work on my part, true, but that hasn't taken away from my experience with them. They published a beautiful book for me, and it didn't cost me anything for them to do it. So, I really can't say anything negative about them. That's just my opinion, and I know there are others who might not feel this way. Thank you, again, for your concern. I do appreciate it; that's why we're all here.
