Buddy OverBite

I am going to tell you about our CRAZY dog Buddy OverBite.
We got Buddy from a family on PetFinder.com about 3 years ago.He is a Llapsa Apsa,a cocoa color and 9 years old.He has this really quirky personality. He loves to be with people and had this real need to be with people. He doesn't like to be left alone at all.(I think this is probably why the lady got rid of him!)He is a good dog...this is his only downfall.

Buddy loves to go for long, long drives in the car.As soon as I put on my shoes he goes to the door and waits. If I pick up my keys it's major excitement...the tail starts wagging and he starts his prancing and dancing in anticipation of thinking he's going too! Most of the time if it's a cool day we will take him with us and let him ride along. If it's cool he can wait for us, unfortunately on warm or hot days he has to wait home in the dreaded house...where he gets soo resentful.

That's not what I wanted to tell you about though...because Buddy really IS a good dog.He loves everyone and all of us...and he loves his toys too....but only the soft plush kind.He is soo funny. When we come home from some place. He will run and get the toy and he will just keep holding it in his mouth like it's his baby.He won't put it down at all.He will just keep squeaking it and squeaking it until sometimes you have to say B...U...D...D...Y..!.His toy is this little yellow chicken that can't be more bigger then your middle finger. So,when you see him with this chicken in his mouth it just looks so darn funny.Well..one particular night,he seemed glued to it...it was dinner time and I called him in to eat and he wasn't going to put it down.He came in and he had it in his mouth.I said..."well aren't you going to put it down??" He just stood there for a second...finally he droped the chicken in his dish of food and proceeded to pick up his food, eat a morsel and when he was done he picked his chicken back up and went in the other room.

Another thing he liked to do is "beep" the toys to make them squeak. My daughter was in the tub and her clothes were on the floor.Well he walked into the bathroom and I hear this..."Ma.....Buddy's beeping my bra!!!" It was alittle padded and evidentally he was checking to make sure it wasn't a toy...I guess if it would've have beeped he would've have claimed it!! lol!

That's...our crazy...dog!(He's also the character in my storybook)
