I've been told I write the type of books that people read again and again and find something new each time.

Biography
I was born in the Bronx, New York. My mother was an artist so I learned how to draw early and by ten years old I was writing and drawing my own comic books. At fourteen I discovered the guitar, began writing songs and started playing clubs in Greenwich Village. After two decades of being the lead singer and guitarist for the rock group DA BRONX, I moved to upstate New York and as a hobby began writing horror stories for my pre-teen daughters. I submitted one to a contest and won the grand prize. The novel Frostie the Deadman was later published. A follow up novel, Half Moon Falls has been completed and has been published by ARI PUBLiSHING. A new Adult novel titled Noon: The Rise to Power has been published as well I enjoy music, art, movies and any literature that’s clever and inventive. (Lately I’m only seeing that in graphic novels). I’m a fan of the Firefly series, Deathnote, and South Park. I love talking to and comparing notes with other novelists. You can contact me at zackaryrichards@yahoo.com
Inspiration
I'm influenced most by novelists who brought something new to the readership. Kurt Vonnegut, Mark Twain, Stephen King, Allen Moore, Rod Serling just to name a few. In my novels I've used beer commercials, game show hosts, stuttering parrots, disfigured recluses and sing-alongs to liven things up and as strange as it may sound, it always worked.
