Kazantzakis,Krishnamurti and Freud are soul influences.

Biography
All of my writings often scathingly describe the conditioning society imposes upon artists and awakened souls. Whether writing about the spiritual teacher Krishnamurti, poet and novelist Nikos Kazantzakis, or film giants such as Orson Welles and Buster Keaton, I skewer where I can and applaud those who refuse to compromise and conform. "I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free," is Kazantzkis's epitaph and my guiding light: to be psychologically free in myself and from you. Writer, teacher and psychotherapist for twenty-five years, I express or try to convey a unique combination of psychodynamic thinking and Eastern philosophy while examining existentialism, alternative education, and Jewish values. My award-winning novel, The i Tetralogy, is considered by some a groundbreaking comntribution to Holocaust literature. Down to a Sunless Sea, also an award winner, is a short story collection.
Inspiration
Krishnamurti, for over four decades, has assisted me in becoming free -- and free of him as well. He spurned disciples, and that is not in my nature. Kazantzakis for his struggle, "Overdraw me, Lord, and who cares if I break!" he wrote in his grand and great confessional, Report to Greco. And Freud for his cheerful pessimism, and who like Darwin, came real close to fathoming our nature, that we are ruled by our genes, what is now known as evolutionary psychology.
