William G. Guzman
His first book, which took a lot longer than anticipated to finished, has been well received by the general public.

    Look and Listen

    Biography

Nothing Missed Everything Gained is William's first effort, traveling the past through his life experiences (from the age of five to the present), with an exhaustive analysis here and there, particularly nothing the possible dangers of a child and the negligence of their elders. He also took the time to translate the work in Spanish under the title "Nada perdido, todo ganado".

    Inspiration

At around the age of 16 the idea of writing a book entered my mind somehow, even though I knew that I could hardly write clearly back then. It was not until College however when a couple of professors thought I had some talent. In 2006, while watching TV one afternoon, I hit upon the Oprah Winphrey Show. In it, Oprah was interviewing a writer who had come back a second time to face accusations that his memoirs were just a collection of lies. "This is it", I told myself. "I could write my own memoirs". While working on it, soon realized that my writing skills were simply not there; however, I could not leave the project unfinished because this reminded me of my father who time and time again started projects which were never finished. It was painfully hard. Writing the book, I think, forced myself to write something decent, leaning a great deal about myself and my past along the way.
