Biography

Vernon Bushway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles California where he attended school and college. After graduating from Fairfax High School he attend Los Angeles City college pursuing his eduction in Electical Engineering. Vernon enlisted in the United State Force and served four years as a High Speed Air to Ground Radio Operator and is a Veteran of the World War II Occupation of Japan and the Korean War. Upon his Honorable Discharge from the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant, he returned to college continuing his Electrical Engineering education. Vernon spent more than fifty years in the Design and Manufacturing of Electronic products and retired as a Senior Executive from Applied Magnetics Corporation of Santa Barbara. Upon his retirement Vernon was able to begin his life long dream of becoming an Author and has just released his first novel on Amazon Kindle E-Books and Barnes & Noble Nook and the printed version on Create Space. printed version on Create Space. Vernon is married, has two Children, six Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren.

Inspiration

My desire to be an author has been inspired by several authors, Louis Lamour, T. Jefferson Parker, Robert Parker and WEB Griffin. In addition, my business activities which allowed me to travel the world influences my writings with knowledge of all the various cultures and histories in those different lands.
