By day, I work as an Assistant Director of Publications for a Pittsburgh-area university; by night, I work as a freelancer in between diaper changes (not mine) and reruns of The Andy Griffith Show.

Biography
After college, I bounced around in 14 different jobs before landing my current position, which I hope to keep indefinitely...or until something better comes along. My favorite authors are Bill Bryson, Tony Horwitz, Augusten Burroughs, Cormac McCarthy, and David McCullough, just to name a few. My book of Catholic school irreverence - "Cageball, Poker and the Atomic Wedgie (Trafford, 2003) has sold over 3,000 copies and ruined my reputation forever. I inhale coffee and wine and listen to Radiohead almost exclusively.
