Biography

Award winning author Tricia McGill has published romance books across numerous sub genres, including: mainstream, contemporary, Time_Travel, futuristic and historical. Tricia was born in London and spent the first half of her life there before moving to Australia where she resides not far from Melbourne, Victoria. This is where most of her contemporary romances are set--it's a beautiful part of the country. Tricia has owned many pets in her life, and a few horses. Dogs, cats and horses feature in some of her books.

Inspiration

There are quite a few writers who have inspired me and still inspire me to write. I have a fascination for the past and am sure I've lived a few times in different centuries. Strong women have inspired me, foremost being my mother. Annie was the strongest person I've known and despite having a large family and being incredibly poor she always managed to bring out the best in her children. I was the youngest in a family of ten and always spoiled. In fact I have led a charmed life being surrounded by people whose love and encouragement inspired me to become the best person I could. Our father was our hero and a gentleman in all sense of the word--how could I not be inspired to write with parents such as mine.
