    Biography

I'm married and live in southern, New Jersey. I was born on the 4th of July and I am very patriot. With growing up just fifteen minutes across the Delaware River from the Liberty Bell in center city Philadelphia, It has made me feel good to celebrate my birthday on Independence Day. I couldn't have been born on a better day. I have my American flags flying high everyday of the year at my home. My 4x great-grandfather was a colonel in the Revolutionary War. My 3x great-grandfather was in the Civil War. My grandfather served in World War I, and my uncle was in World War II. I also have an uncle who was killed in the Korean War and recieved the purple heart. My father is a verteran of the Korean War and served on the USS New Jersey battleship for two years, which is now a museum docked at its home port ten minutes from my home. My brother in-law served in desert storm and a younger brother-in law just came back from Iraq. So as you can see, being born on the 4th of July is very near to me and is kind of ironic with all of my family being veterans of our freedom. Here is a little more about me. Even though having a professional degree, I decided that being a stay at home mother was my destiny. I have two teenage children and my oldest is thirty. As the years have past I have been an avid reader. During my childhood I would read every Nancy Drew book that came to the nearest drug store. When I became a teen I went on to read every V.C. Andrews book, starting with 'flowers in the attic'. I still own everyone of those books today and my daughter is now reading them. While raising my children, between taking care of them and watching every Disney movie that came out, I would read. I have read so many books that I can't even begin to list them all. Along with the many romance novels I read by Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele, I have read many biographies and historical books. All the years that I would read I had an inner passion to write my own book just to put my own twist on a story. Many times I would sit down and write only to delete the story, feeling that I just wasn't going to be a good writer. One day I didn't let my inter feeling of not being a good writer hold me back and what I accomplished was finishing my first novel. I went on to write again, and to my surpirse became published not to long after. I am today happy that my dream of writing is now something that I am actually doing. I am a published author of The Wild Rose Press. Their website is www.the wildrosepress.com I have learned that if you have the will and pursue your dream, it can happen.

    Inspiration

My inspiration came from the many books that I have read, along with the need to write. Something in my inner soul always pushed me to write, but as anyone I would feel in my own mind that was just a pipe dream. One day I just did it and from there my writing has continued. Writing is a passion for me. I love to write a story with a mystery twist within the plot. I want my readers to want to read my stories and be so engrossed that they don't want to put the book down, until they have finished it. My goal is just to keep writing and who knows one day I may be another Nora Roberts, Daniel Steele or even my favorite author V.C. Andrews.
