Inspiration
I reported to a bad boss early in my career and I had no idea what to do. Over time I learned I had to change my approach to get different outcomes. I applied my learning into my experience coaching others. In my Human Resources career, I have learned a lot about organizational behavior and how people’s ability to work together fails under stress, pressure, or lack of soft-skill competencies. I wrote the book to appeal to the on-the-go crowd who are busy and need practical, field-tested solutions to changing the process of communicating with a difficult or dysfunctional boss. I wanted to bring a fresh perspective on the topic of bad people management coming from both a personal and professional angle. My goal is to have people apply the techniques and change their ways of working to improve their job satisfaction and overall well-being.
