Biography

Since childhood, I've had a deep appreciation for nature--its orderliness and interconnectedness. We had a menagerie of critters on our small farm, bountiful harvests and were avid campers at state parks and at the shores of breathtaking Canadian lakes. Though I've lived in many metropolitan areas, my heart belongs to the great outdoors. It is with this reverence for all things natural and beautiful, that I was drawn to natural health as a profession. I graduated from the American Holistic College of Nutrition and am certified by the American Association of Nutritional Consultants. I am currently working on my PhD. in Natural Health at Clayton College of Natural Health. Seeing firsthand the amazing ability of the human body to heal when given what it needs on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level, has perhaps been the greatest teacher of all. In addition to writing, I enjoy lecturing, organic gourmet cooking, biking and hiking.

Inspiration

It is both exciting and humbling to realize that the Master Architect of the Universe, our Heavenly Father, designed us with the innate capacity to heal. This focus builds an appreciation for the way we are wonderfully made and the necessity to work in harmony with our body systems. Writing is an outlet which I find to be very necessary for me. It gives me the opportunity to express my knowledge, experience and gratefulness to teach, inspire and encourage others to take steps to better health.
