Look and Listen
Biography
I worked for many years as a technical writer, college journalism instructor, corporate communications director, and grant writer before publishing my novel "The Sun Singer" in 2004. Under my Jock Stewart pseudonym, I published a satirical book of parody news stories in 2006 called "Worst of Jock Stewart." I grew up in north Florida and currently live in north Georgia where I am active on my town's historic preservation commission.
Inspiration
I am influenced by place and what it offers a writer of fiction. Places have history, characters, stories and magic attached to them. These attributes, as well as the physical beauty and terrain, serve a novelist well, for all of them can be interwoven with the plot and theme of his work for greater resonance.
