Biography

I never considered myself much of a writer even though as far as I could remember, I was always giving family members and friend’s homemade cards and candles. Not having much money at the time this was my way of sharing something special with family members and friends during the Holidays and on birthdays. I guess it worked out alright because I never saw anything I made in the garbage or given back to me by mistake. Growing up in a neighborhood of all boys, most of them wanted to be singers. There were a number of local groups who paid me $25.00 to $50.00 for some lyrics. Not a bad pay day in the late 50’s and early 60’s. As I grew older I was always dreaming stories and could vividly recall every detail. I would relay the stories to family and friends, who would say, write it down or keep a tape recorder by your bed so you can refer back to it. This was all good but it was not until I heard it from the love of my life my husband Robert that it started to make sense. My first officially published book, What My Heart Desires shows you what can happen when you look for love in all the wrong places. I really hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
