I am a Boston-area fiction writer. The video below is called: "Why I'm Over 40 and Still Single" and features the fish theory, the valency theory, and other medical excuses.
Biography
My fiction has appeared in The Drum and Side B Magazine. My non-fiction has appeared in the Boston Herald, the Boston Phoenix, and the Journal of the American Medical Association. For seven years, I was an executive editor for PC World magazine and PCWorld.com.
Inspiration
In 2007, I took a four-month, solo trip around the world and can now say in three languages: “Do you speak English?” “How much is the Pepto-Bismol?” and “Excuse me, is this the evacuation helicopter?” I am writing a novel inspired by the trip with the working title: “The Loneliest Planet: A Handbook for the Chronically Single.” I will circulate the 75,000-word manuscript to agents in 2012.
