Biography

I am a New Zealander. After being a school teacher and principal for most of my adult life, I have been writing fiction full time for a decade now. I write both contemporary drama and science fiction.

I am married with three adult children and two granddaughters. As well as writing I enjoy designing my own covers, drawings and webpages:-

Inspiration

I started writing with and for my pupils (10 - 13 year olds) in mind. However, I found children's or young adult stories too restrictive so moved onto adult novels and science fiction.

Why? Writing is my passion, my world, my excitement. I can be anybody anywhere at any time. I can create after seeing everyday items in the world around me.

I make my characters real, not 2D, and my plots exciting by developing these characters, rather than the shallow use of violence, crime or human relationships.
