    Biography

Rodney Page A Georgia native, Rodney’s business career includes a variety of senior management positions and consulting engagements in a broad range of functions and industries. From startups to Fortune 50 firms to his current position with a Mergers & Acquisitions firm, Rodney has broad and deep experience in the business world. A graduate of the Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia, Rodney has always enjoyed writing. In his business endeavors Rodney has written countless strategic and planning documents, and he wrote a bi-weekly column for a major newspaper. In 2005 Rodney authored “Leading Your Business to the Next Level…the Six Core Disciplines of Sustained Profitable Growth,” a hands-on guide for executives leading their companies through the perils and pitfalls of managing in a high growth environment. As an avid student of history and follower of the American political scene, Rodney decided to combine that background with his lifelong desire to write a novel. “Powers Not Delegated” is his first foray into fiction, and as would be expected, the book meshes his knowledge of history, business and current events to produce a relevant and plausible tale of domestic and international intrigue. Rodney’s business and community involvements have included the Association for Corporate Growth, Chamber of Commerce board member, Rotarian and Vice-Chairman of county political party. Rodney lives in Atlanta. His passions include hiking, photography, history, reading, and, of course, University of Georgia football.

    Inspiration

As noted in my bio, writing a novel has been a lifelong dream. I authored a non-fiction business book in 2005 and worked to make it entertaining and readable as possible. But, for obvious reason, I could not fully develop and express thoughts in a creative way. Additionally, I knew I had the informational base for a good novel...a history buff, political and current events junky; but, could I blend real facts and people with fictional plots and characters in an entertaining way? I believe I did "Powers Not Delegated" is the result of that effort.
