Her newest book, “How to Marry a Mensch,” was published by Fair Winds Press in January 2006. Robin has done hundreds of interviews to promote her books and work as The Love Coach. She has been seen on many television programs, specials, and networks worldwide including "The Today Show," CNN, CNBC, "Geraldo,” "Live at Five," "USA Live," Canadian Broadcast Co. Robin is also a radio regular, having done hundreds of interviews from New York to New Zealand stations. Robin is featured in the independent film, "Unmade Beds," from critically acclaimed British Director Nicholas Barker, as herself (dating coach), which played to rave reviews at the Screening Room in NYC and aired on Cinemax. Robin also shot a television special "Love Letters to New York" (with singer Deborah Gibson), and was featured in the student film "Kosher Sex," screened in New York City at Makor. In addition, she shot a “60 Minutes” equivalent news program that aired in France, and appeared in a Canadian documentary film about singles. She has been a guest chat host regular for iVillage (which reports millions of visitors monthly, primarily women), has chatted up a storm on Electra (AOL), and was a monthly featured guest on eYada.com. She has her own advice website, www.LoveCoach.com where she writes the blog Relationship Rap with Robin, also featured on JMag, published by JDate.com. You can also visit her on Myspace.com. Since Robin has been a strong presence on the lecture/book store circuit, she understands what singles want to hear. She has made appearances at such venues as the New School, Macy's Herald Square, Learning Annex, The Greenhouse Spa, Mohonk Mountain House, Club Getaway, Jewish Museum, Barnes & Noble, and Borders Books & Music. She has even staged singles events at Stand-Up NY Comedy Club, and has been called on by such New York theatre companies as Roundabout Theatre, Second Stage Theatre, and Dodger Productions to host events or consult behind-the-scenes on how to successfully reach the singles market. Plays such as Pulitzer-prize winning "Dinner with Friends" and "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change” are two of the shows that featured Robin dishing out advice on-stage with cast members and in the lobby during special singles events she hosted. For a year and a half, she co-hosted a popular singles book discussion group at Barnes & Noble in Bayside, NY, where different relationship titles were discussed monthly, including her own book. She brought the idea for the group to the store, and newspapers such as Newsday and The Queens Tribune have since written about it. For six months, she led a monthly singles chat session/social at the Port Washington Public Library in NY. She is the recipient of a Certificate of Recognition from the Great Neck Library, for being a local author of note. As the founder of LoveCoach.com, a relationship consulting service, Robin bills herself as "The Love Coach" or a "Personal Trainer for Your Love Life," and as such, she is both a motivator and social strategist, pointing singles in the right direction in their quest for a mate. She has conducted hundreds of consultations, both in-person and on the phone. Other authors, too, have recognized her expertise, and Robin is referenced in the advice books, Cosmopolitan's "Where the Boys Are" by Gloria Brame, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Dating" by Dr. Judy Kuriansky, "The Q&A Dating Book" by Sherry Amatenstein, “Cyberrrl @ Work” by Aliza Sherman, “Cash in the City” by Juliette Fairley, “Looking Forward: An Optimist’s Guide to Retirement” by Ellen Freudenheim, “125 Ways to Meet the Love of Your Life” by Dr. Jan Yager, “Get Your Dating Game On” by Jennifer Worick, “The Long-Distance Relationship Guide” by Caroline Tiger and “1001 Ways to Market Your Books” by John Kremer. With an MBA in Marketing, Robin, herself, is a publicist and skilled marketer, and as such, she is the creator of "International Flirting Week," "Love a Mensch Week," and "National Spring Fever Week," as seen in Chase's Calendar of Events. Through these promotional declarations, Robin keeps her name in the forefront of the press looking to cover such occasions. Ever the leader and innovator, she is also the founder of an active non-profit networking group for entrepreneurial women in New York called The Independent Business Women's Circle (www.ibwc.org) and launched The Playwrights Circle on Long Island and the only on and offline resource/community in the U.S. for 35+ moms with young children called Motherhood Later…Than Sooner (www.motherhoodlater.com).
