Biography

Rita is a mother, and grandmother, recently widowed, she misses her soul mate in life and seeks to entertain with her writing, bringing you romances that define the emotions of love. As a child she was a national traveler, and learned the states by reading the license plates on cars. She loves to dabble in gardening, taking care of fish, her grandchildren's parties and get togethers wtih family. Her books reflect this same atmosphere. You'll see a strong family unit in all her writings, and a spiritual side of her that tells you she loves God and Jesus. Rita does beadwork, makes all her own bookmarks, does her own website and is sixty years old. She looks forward to learning more about life, everyday! God bless!

Inspiration

I guess I was born to write, but at such a young age I didn't know what to do with those voices in my head. I thought I would be a singer first, then an actress, and law interested me, but it was writing that stuck with me. For years, I wrote and put my manuscripts in my drawer so no one could see them. Someone asked me how I became a writer, well, you simply have no choice. For me, I saw movies in my head all the time. When I watched movies, I would try to change the story up so it was all mine. Eventually, I bought an old typewriter and began a slow and long career towards writing. Writers write because they have to. That's all I can say....I have to.
