Biography

i am a disabled vet (usmc 68-70) and a father of five and a grandfather of five. i race and tour armpowered bicycles (e.g. mongolia to beijing and world wheelchair games in london). i love gardening and feeding the birds and reforesting in whatever ways i can acheive that. i have a private practice and i am a school based therapist and a church moderator and mediator. i have a companion named nikko (min daschund)and many fish. survived cancer last year and looking forward to vibrancy in my life again.

Inspiration

life experiences are the key for me and the people i have been blessed to meet and know in my life. the commandante in managua, the doctor in tegucigalpa, disabled people from all over the globe that i have rode bikes with and sat with and drank beer even if it was warm beer. my ward mates at bethesda hospital in 69-70 when i was a patient there and what they were struggling with at the time. my friends past and present who have struggled with the wars - many of whom have succumbed. the people who have so much more serious problems than i who could use an ear and a hand.
