I write fiction and non-fiction. I'm also a lawyer with a sense of humor, and a sensitivity to the absurd. I love to write and read books and articles.
Biography
I'm an attorney and the author of The Gray Ship, a novel of time travel, romance, and a nuclear warship in the Civil War (Coddington Press, 2013). I've written two nonfiction books Justice in America: How it Works—How it Fails. (Coddington Press, 2011) and The APT principle: The Business Plan that you Carry in your Head (Coddington Press, 2012). I live in Islip, Long Island, New York with my wife Lynda and our Shih-tzu Sammy. I've also written countless articles, published on HubPages as well as my own blog, the Moran Report.
Inspiration
Once an idea comes into my head, I immediately start to write about it. I find that the words seem to flow through my fingers. Nothing new agey about that, it's just the point that the act of writing leads to more writing. When I'm blocked, I write. My inspirations often come from conversations with my wife.
