Biography

Renate M Bell grew up in Highland Lake, a small town in the Catskill Mountains of New York, where at a young age she began waitressing at her parent's summer resort, Pine Hill Lodge. She holds a degree in Interior and Architectural Design from Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, New York and has been serving the building industry since graduating in 1986. Fulfilling her personal goals outside the office, Renate has become a certified Vedic Astrologer through the American College of Vedic Astrology, Sedona, Arizona and an approved teacher through the Council of Vedic Astrology, Sante Fe, New Mexico. She is also a Spencer Pilates Personal Trainer, certified by the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association of Rancho Santa Margarita, California and a student of Integral Meditation with the Mudrashram(R) Institute of Spiritual Studies, Los Angeles, California. In her free time, she enjoys photography and art. Much of her photographs and creative art is featured on Zazzle and Flickr. Inspiration

"My writing bubbles up from deep within. Something inside, whether my soul, psyche, ego, or congested mind, tickles its way through until the message is received and noted. The writing process is joyful, even through numerous edits, but like most artistic people, it is the sharing and talking about one's own work that is most challenging. The inspiration from within continues to support overcoming this hurdle as well. I am deeply moved by spiritual teachings, philosophers, and poets... those of ages ago and those in our neighborhoods and countries today. We are all each others' teachers and we are perpetual students. It is this desire to continually learn which fuels the inner flame of inspiration."
