Biography

I'm a dreamer, a scientist, a lover of people and pets. I write poetry, science fiction, paranormal, inspirational and thrillers. I also write copy for book trailers, something I've won multiple awards for and that I'm very proud of. I'm a techno-geek and perpetually directionally challenged. And I'm glad to meet you!

Inspiration

My main inspiration has been my family. First and foremost is my father. He told me that I could do anything I could dream of. And so I did. Thanks, Dad! My grandparents (Great grandparents-Nancy & Pete)(Hazel & Ed)(Lucille and Wesley)and my step grandmother Glenda. If I could go back and change one thing in my life it would be to spend more time with these people. My step mother, Patti. She was a tough little Italian lady who weighed about 90 pounds, was less than 5 feet tall and someone I would NEVER mess with!!! LOL She had a heart larger than her entire body. She encouraged me to actually finish my manuscript instead of just talking about it. With her encouragement I did complete my first book. It was called Circle of Seven. In honor of that event and in memory of her, I named my company Circle of Seven. I've been inspired by teachers and relatives, by leaders and followers. I was raised to believe that everyone has something to offer. Everyone matters. I love people. I love life. I know I have been very blessed. My inspiration for writing comes from a variety of sources. Stephen King and H.P. Lovecraft, Christine Feehan and Lisa Kleypas. There are so many wonderful authors out there that leave their mark on you somehow. I'm inspired by my uncle Mike who is like a brother to me. And inspired by his lovely wife of 25 years who has been my very best friend since we were 12. Ack! Has it really been that long?!! I'm inspired by mothers who don't sleep because their child is sick and by fathers who work overtime on super bowl Sunday because their daughter needs shoes. I'm inspired by the simple things that people often overlook or forget to be in awe of. I am inspired by husband who loves me even when I wear my comfy clothes and burn dinner two days in a row. lol
